SOMETHING ON PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT

PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT

People say that there are three basic amenities in life, food, clothing and shelter. This might be the case in old times, but the latest corporate world expects something else apart from these requirements which is a sound personality. The term personality is often interpreted in a wrong way, taken to be the external appearance. But the real factors behind a good personality include presence of mind, positive approach, clarity and a lot more which can be clubbed under the term, “attitude”.
We come across a lot of people in a single day, say we meet an average of 200 people. But we dont rememder everyone. There can be two kinds of people who stay with us in our minds even after they physiclly move away. The former includes stupids and the latter includes smart people. On either case, personality plays a vital role. The motive of being noticed, can never be take in a wrong sense. So a good personality brings good reputation too!
The way you present yourselves in front of others is going to play a vital role in determining your personality. People who dont often feel comfortable to converse with strangers will surely have problems in presenting themselves in front of a big crowd. One solution for breaking this barrier could be to start speaking freely to strangers you meet in bus, lift or malls. What does it cost to say a hi or hello to people who are co-passsengers or those who reside in your appartment? If you need to build a good reputation, just break out your shy.
The best way to break shy could be to talk to people about things that are not serious. Just a small joke of a prank. Once you start up with this approach, you give them an opportunity to get easily acquainted with you. Just try saying welcome to people entering the lift that you are travelling and start conversing. It works! Once you are able to break the barrier of mingling freely, things start working for you. This development could mark a major difference in your attitude.
One another major field of concern could be the clarity in the way you present yourselves to others. I can quote a story in this context. Once a doctor wrote some medicines on a prescription and the patient took it to the chemist. He got all the medicines other than the last one that was written. He tried with almost all chemists, but ended in vain. Finally he went back to the doctor and explained the problem. The doctor smiled and said that it was his signature! So there is no use in explaining things unless you are clear. You would sound greek and latin to the one whom you are approaching, which is not a good sign.
Finally, your positive approach could be the biggest key for a good personality. Further steps could be time keeping, enhancing listening skills etc,. The initial steps like presenting in the best way and being clear could help a lot in building a good personality.

Good luck!

Walkie Talkie Watches

Walkie Talkie Watches

The first thing we thought was “a walkie talkie in a watch? That’ll be poo! It will have no range, eat batteries, have no functions and be seriously fiddly/difficult to use”. So naturally we had to have a closer look. At first glance we were surprised by the size. They are oversized, compared to a Casio watch, but not as much as you might think. The face of the “watch” only measures in at 7 x 6 x 2.5cm and when you consider that the aerial can be folded in and out when needed it is surprisingly small. The next thing we noticed was…

SteriShoe sterilizes and gets rid of shoe odors

SteriShoe may be a product that some might think is taking things too far. However, if you’ve ever worn workboots or know someone that does, I doubt you question that it’d be a great idea for some people. Some of the reason being that you just wish you could get rid of the smell, the other part being that you really do wonder sometimes how much bacteria gets built up inside of a pair of shoes you never wash.
